Edwardian Oak Blanket Chest, circa 1900
About the Item
circa 1900-1910 English Edwardian blanket chest from England. The top is paneled, and follows down to paneled sides on all four sides for easy placement in any room. The back and sides feature simple paneling, and the front has a hand carved decorated apron over three panels, all with hand carved decoration as well. The panels are surrounded by banding of hand carved simple decorations to really elevate the design of the piece. The top opens to reveal generous storage as well.
