This storage chest is a collectible item in a rare new series from Rug & Kilim’s Modern Classics.
Further on the Design:
Keen eyes will note that all four sides employ recycled vintage Persian tribal rugs in hand-knotted wool. The base is wood, and its bindings employ a rich, light-brown leather that continues onto its side handles and opening. Its lid is a gorgeous solid ride, while its sides enjoy polychromatic geometric patterns in vibrant hues.
R&K Principal Josh Nazmiyal believes this series to be new, though it's possible these boxes may be young vintage pieces as well. Connoisseurs may further note that our team believes this chest’s rugs to be vintage Shiraz Persian rugs with some embroidery.
This item’s dimensions are 15” x 29” x 20”.
