Antique English Victorian Walnut & Brass Open Bookcase
About the Item
An antique English late Victorian walnut open bookcase bookcase in the Regency style, very nice quality and unusual in that the top has a pierced brass three quarter-gallery and reeded edge, the open front with two adjustable shelves and raised on square tapering legs. Stamped with owners name ‘C W Walker’ to reverse making us think there might have been a past military connection. In good original condition with light marks consistent with age and usage.
