    This is an exquisite pair of antique Edwardian marquetry inlaid figured Satinwood bookcases by th world renowned cabinet makers Maple & Co, circa 1900 in date. Each bookcase features decorative cornices featuring marquetry decoration of fans with foliate and fleur de lys, above a pair of astragal glazed doors revealing three adjustable shelves. The base sections door panels inlaid with marquetry urns with ebonised banding, and the bookcases are raised on tapering short legs over decorative carved feet. Complete with working locks and keys. The quality and attention to detail throughout are second to none. Condition: In excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned, polished and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
