About the Item
This piece of furniture represents all the features that a bookcase must have.
It has the original antique glass which is very rare in a bookstore of this period.
Period late 1700s origin Piedmont Italy entirely in walnut and walnut burl all shelves are original and adjustable to suit your needs
It is a large piece of furniture but having wavy, open sides it is endlessly elegant.
What is rare is that present both drawers for leaning to write and an internal secrétaire, and I invite you to view the video to discover all the original internal secrets.
We spent a lot of time restoring this piece of furniture because it deserves a conservative restoration, and we decided to keep the same patina that was there originally by feeding it with wax and doing this work entirely by hand by us.
We did the woodworm treatment.
