California Studio Pine Bookcase by Al Moe, 1970s
About the Item
An amazing California studio crafted bookcase constructed in solid pine with rosewood veneer backing, most likely made in the the 1970s. Every corner and edge has been sculpted to create an organic, sinuous aesthetic. The piece has an incredible warmth to it which will translate to any room its placed in. The scale is extremely versatile--it is just over 6 feet long, with lots of storage, but with a depth of only 9.5", it doesn't take up too much space and can be placed easily on most walls. This one-of-a-kind piece is full of character and ready to be placed in a high end interior. It has been gently refinished while still preserving some of its beautiful patina.
