Early Victorian 19th century flame mahogany breakfront bookcase

About the Item

Early victorian 19th century flame mahogany breakfront bookcase, circa 1850. Comprising of 5 sections. Plinth, cupboard, middle section, glazed unit and cornice. Made front the finest quality matching veneers. With applied lambs tongue carvings. Swags and beading to doors. Top section has central double glazed doors which open to reveal 4 adjustable shelves, flanked either side by single glazed door with 3 shelves each. Lower section central double doors open to a single shelf, flanked either side by single door cupboard containing 2 shelves each. Standing on a plinth base. Minor areas of surface fading, minor restorations to veneer.
