Exceptional Mahogany Regency Bookcase, Circa 1820
About the Item
Early 19th century, Regency bookcase constructed of solid mahogany, featuring original glazed doors with striking solid brass grill work and the top is finished with a pierced brass gallery. Inside, the back curves elegantly at each side and the shelves wear a finished edge. This pieces was constructed entirely by hand with painstaking care and attention to detail. Circa 1820.
