FF08 Low Bookcase in Walnut by Stokes Furniture
About the Item
This low and deep bookshelf is sized for the storage and display of records or art books. An interior depth of 14.5" combined with adjustable shelves allows for records, oversized books, or small sculptures you've collected from your travels.
To balance the design, the adjustable shelves are a thinner 1/2" fitted with a fully rounded front edge. They rest on brass pins and can be adjusted a total of 6".
The attached base is 3" high and contains hidden adjustable feet w nylon slides. No wobbly furniture on our watch.
This pieces is constructed to highest cabinetmaking standards. Clear walnut is selected and matched for all panels and then assembled with loose mortise and tenon joinery. Finished with your choice of a water based conversion varnish or a hand rubbed oil.
As with all of our pieces, this is handmade in our North Carolina factory with the highest grade material.
