Fine 19th Century French Louis Philippe Bureau Bookcase in Maple

About the Item

A fine 19th century French Louis-Philippe period maple & mahogany bureau bookcase. Shaped moulded sides and cornice above a pair of shaped glazed doors with adjustable shelves, above a bureau section with three leather tooled sets, above the standard configuration of a central drawer and flanked by two drawers to each side, all raised on very elegant hexagonal tapering legs. A wonderful warm colour and patination to the wood. France c.1870 The dimensions are: Height: 208.5cm (82.1in) Width: 149cm (58.7in) Depth: 66cm (26.0in)
