A fine early 19th century large French bookcase (or deux corps bibliotheque), of cherry wood, retaining the original glass panels. Wonderful color and patina.
Featuring an upper tier with crown moulding, over two enclosed cabinets flanked by three carved columns, each cabinet with two paneled glass doors, and each cabinet opening to three adjustable shelves.
Mounted to a lower tier with break front shelf over a similarly styled three column frieze, flanking two cabinets, each with two paneled doors, each enclosing a storage space with one adjustable shelf.
Two extra shelves for top tier available.
