Regency Mahogany Canterbury. Standing upon Turned Feet with Original Brass Castors. Featuring 1 Mahogany Lined Drawer. Period Regency The Magazine Dividers Being of a Criss Cross Form With Carved Laurel and Swag Decoration. The Canterbury is a traditional piece of furniture that became popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. It was named after the Archbishop of Canterbury's palace, where a similar type of stand was used for holding sheet music. The design usually features a slatted or openwork design to allow for air circulation around the stored items. Presented in good condition.
