About the Item

No maker's mark, but this impressive piece is almost certainly John Stuart, from the massive scale to the gorgeous book-matched rosewood fronts. All shelves, drawers, and doors are fully adjustable for maximum flexibility. A few general notes about all items available through 1stdibs dealer MOBLER Home Decor: 1. We list all our items as being in "good" condition with "wear consistent with age and use," even when they may be viewed subjectively as being in "very good" or "excellent" condition. We prefer our customers to be pleasantly surprised and have not yet had an item returned. If we have found significant flaws that go beyond age appropriate wear, we always list them in the Condition section, so please be sure to check. 2. We are what we call "glass agnostic." If you see a base you like but want a glass top in a different size, shape, or edge treatment, we are always willing to supply it if we have it in stock. We can also ship most items without the glass, if you would like to have it made locally or want to save on shipping. Just ask. 3. If we have had an item restored or polished, we always ask our specialists to make it look "old but well cared for" rather than "new." Most people prefer vintage items to have some patina, or what we like to call "attractive defects." However, if you would prefer an item to look new, please let us know. We may be able to have it polished further for an additional charge. 4. 1stdibs shipping quotes tend to be the best. While there are rare circumstances when we may be able to beat them -- and we can almost always get it to you faster for an additional charge -- usually we cannot ship it for less. The exception is items 1stdibs believes should be shipped freight but you believe can be shipped in a box. If so, let us know. We'll be happy to help. 5.
