19th Century French Country Louis XV Oak Buffet
About the Item
Circa mid 19th century France.
This handsome antique French buffet features a molded edge plank top above three drawers with beautiful carved faces. The outer drawers have floral brass knobs and the center drawer has a non-functioning lock & key.
Two doors open to reveal a single shelf with a very generous amount of storage. The shelf sits 12” above the bottom of the cabinet, leaving 14.5” of clearance above the shelf. Left side door has a latch opening and the right side door is magnetized.
Short legs support the gracefully contoured and carved apron with stylized center shell and paneled sides. Finished off with a gorgeous French polish.
