19th Century French Elm Buffet
About the Item
19th century elm buffet from France. The top is made from exquisitely grained burl elm, and is banded in the same, for a stunning top perspective. The sides are paneled and feature burl elm panels as well for an interesting design feature on the side profiles. The front has a single long drawer, hidden in the top molding, over two paneled doors, which open to reveal shelving. The interior has been expertly upholstered in the past, which is lovely! The case is banded at the base with more burl elm moldings, and is supported on bracket feet.
