Antique Renaissance Revival Buffet

About the Item

Antique Renaissance Revival Buffet is a spectacular testament to the talents of a premier cabinetmaker, indeed! Designed for a lavish manoir, it was hand-crafted from old-growth indigenous white oak to last for centuries, and features a design inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Underneath is an almost life-size lion's paw foot that adds a truly special visual touch. The bold base molding below and finely detailed molding around the top are also inspired, but another special aspect of this design are the panels. Each side and each of the cabinet doors are adorned with framed heraldic crests, carved to a remarkable degree of artistry and complexity with scrollworks in all directions, creating visual excellence without equal! Circa early 1900s Measures 39 H x 51 W x 26 D.
