Early 1900s French Provincial Oak Buffet Sideboard
About the Item
Found in the Burgundy region of France, this Early 1900s French Provincial Buffet or Sideboard was crafted by French artisans from old growth oak. Crafted with a unique angled front, the piece features a hand wood pegged top resting above three dovetailed drawers and three doors which open to reveal a middle shelf for storage. Each of the drawers and doors present hand carved detail and retain their orignal iron hardware, escutcheon plates and functioning locking mechanisms. Three keys are available, one for each door. Finished with a front scalloped apron, hand carved side panels the piece rest on four detailed front legs and two back legs. The unique shape of this piece will add visual interest to any room of your home.
