Crafted with precision and elegance, this piece hails from the picturesque Perche region of France, named after the pre-Celtic term perkwu, meaning “oak” or “big tree.” It’s no surprise that Perche is known for its vast forests, as this cabinet’s craftsmanship reflects the region’s deep-rooted connection to nature. The upper body of this cabinet boasts an arching crown adorned with several layers of thick cavetto molding, while the doors are inset with three gracefully shaped panels featuring thick volute molding. Inside, you’ll discover three full-length and shaped shelves, providing ample storage space for your treasured possessions.
