About the Item
Louis XVI ~ Directoire Style Buffet by Selva of Italy is a superlative example of the storied maker's fine quality products. Founded in 1968, the company has used skilled artisans and select hardwoods to produce the "antiques of tomorrow". This example, with tailored neoclassical lines, features four cabinet doors that open to three huge cabinet interior spaces, plus a pair of drawers for added convenience, with access by cast bale style pulls.. Brass key guards protect the cabinet door keyholes, and tapered legs provide support. The richness and excellent finish of the wood is indicative of the inherent quality of this maker.
