1930s Italian Renaissance Credenza Buffet from Bassano Solid Walnut polished
Located in Vigonza, Padua
Midcentury Italian Renaissance Bassano credenza buffet, solid walnut restored and polished to wax. Measure cm: H 92, L 100, P 47. About Bassano del Grappa Bassano del Grappa is known for the three great traditions that have made it famous: ceramics, whose productions, linked to the prestigious Antonibon family, are admirable in the Museum of ceramics at Palazzo Sturm; the typography developed between 1600 and 1800 by the Remondini family, an illustrious family of publishers and engravers of the most important Italian printing industry and the cabinet makers who produced furniture for the nearby Venice from the 16th century. The architectural context of Bassano del Grappa is a dive into art: the streets of the center are adorned by the works of authors such as Palladio, Canova, Jacopo Da Ponte...

Art Deco French Wood Black Glass Buffet Sideboard Commode
Located in Valladolid, ES
Amazing French chest of drawers made of precious wood, in an elegant veined reddish tone, original from the first half of the 40s of the 20th century. Characteristic design of Art Déco, with pure lines that tend towards geometrization, in this case curved shapes that make this sideboard a very special piece. It consists of two silver handles, again following those curved lines. Both doors open and feature key locks. Inside it has a shelf for greater utility. In the upper part of the furniture there is a shiny black glass that brings light and shine to everything that rests on it. About the Art Deco style Art Déco, short for the French term Arts Décoratifs, and sometimes simply called Déco, is a style of visual arts, architecture, and product design, which first appeared in France in the 1910s (just before World War I). and flourished in the United States especially, but also in Europe, during the 1920s and 1930s. Art Deco combined modern styles with fine craftsmanship and rich materials. During its heyday, it represented luxury, glamour, exuberance and faith in social and technological progress. From its inception, Art Deco was influenced by the bold geometric shapes of Cubism and the Vienna Secession; the bright colors of Fauvism and the Russian ballets; the up-to-date craftsmanship of the furniture from the times of Louis XVI and Louis Philippe I; and the exotic styles of Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Persian, ancient Egyptian, and Mayan art...

French Louis XVI Maison Jansen Inspired Buffet, Restored in an Ebonized Finish
Located in Chicago, IL
French Louis XVI style ebonized buffet. Our Old Plank workshop carefully removed the old finish without the use of any harsh chemicals and applied an ebonized finish. This French Louis XVI style buffet has a little more age to it than most of the ones we see, for the drawers are solid wood and that includes the bottom and the back of the buffet has an older appearance about it. The marble top has never been broken and the drawers open and close as smooth as butter. Our Louis XVI style buffet is actually part of a complete dining room suite and there is a matching Louis XVI...
