17th Century Dutch Antique Cabinet, Highboard, The Netherlands, Renaissance

About the Item

17th century; Dutch; Antique cabinet; Highboard; The Netherlands; Renaissance; Antique cabinet that is made in the Netherlands in the 17th century. Its typical shape makes it a good example of a Dutch "kussenkast". The raised panels in the doors resemble the shape of pillows (kussens). The cabinet has two doors that open up to three drawers on the bottom part and has smaller drawers on the top part. The drawer is decorated with geometric ornaments. The cabinet is in incredible condition.
