18th Century Austrian Hand-Carved and Painted Cabinet Accented with Gold Leaf
About the Item
Crafted in the 18th century, this antique Austrian two door cabinet is painted with a well-detailed floral motif and adorned with hand-carved and gold leafed decorations. Exquisitely enough, all the original glass is still on the piece, a rarity with antiques of this age. The shelves of this cabinet are curved, an unusual design to display fine platters and dish wares. A platform sits on either side, perfect for displaying a pair of small statues or decorative candles.
