18th Century Burr Yew Cabinet

About the Item

A wonderful Geo III dwarf press, constructed of rare timbers of quarter veneered panels on each side with cocus wood crossbanding, the doors with fielded panels enclosing an oak lined interior with pull out trays, the base holding 2 drawers with brass handles and raised on bracket feet with concealed lignum wood castors. Still retaining a great rich colour and patina. Circa 1760. H: 112 cm (44 1/16") W: 119 cm (46 7/8") D: 52 cm (20 1/2")
