About the Item
This piece is an early example from the Stag Minstrel furniture line, designed by John and Sylvia Reid during the 1960s. It beautifully blends classic British design with a modern interior aesthetic. Hand-painted in a durable black mineral paint and coated with a satin sheen varnish, it features stunning 'Imaginarium' wallpaper from Transylvanian designers 'Mind the Gap'. The woodland scene and horse imagery evoke Paolo Uccello's 'The Hunt in the Forest', while other Renaissance motifs adorn this unique paper. This remarkable piece is sure to spark conversation and elevate any room, whether in a contemporary or traditional setting.
