This is an antique bow front corner cabinet. An English, flame mahogany and oak wall cupboard, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1780. Exquisite craftsmanship sets apart this superb cabinet from George III's reign Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Select flame stocks show exceptional figuring Rich russet hues with light embers present beautifully Of delightful bow-front form with flared crown moulding Accentuated across the fascia with a trio of inlaid oval medallions Tall pair of doors, dressed to the right with a brass lock escutcheon — key present Each opening wide upon three pairs of dashing butterfly hinges Arrangement of four shelves to the generous interior, raised above a trio of drawers Drawer fronts dressed with small brass pulls, over oak drawer boxes Cabinet back finished in oak stocks with wisps of medullary rays Dressed with a pair of brass mounting loops for ease of wall hanging This is a fine antique bow front corner cabinet, with wonderful colour and striking figuring. A treat for the corner of your room, with appealing craftsmanship and useful storage. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
