This is an antique calligrapher's case. An English, mahogany 3 drawer specimen cabinet, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860. Quality craftsmanship to this delightful storage case Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Select stocks present fine grain interest throughout Gorgeous caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish Full-width field panel door grants access to a suite of three drawers Dressed to the right-hand side with an inset, working lock — key present Each drawer lined with a striking cobalt blue velvet Upper and lower drawers replete with removable storage tray inserts This is a superb antique calligrapher's case, with three drawers of storage for many types of small collectibles. Of wonderful quality with fine stocks and through dovetail joints. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
