This is an antique shop's display cabinet. An English, oak showcase with glazed door, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Slender proportion with a pleasingly tall profile, ideal for a small collection
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select oak stocks show fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
Quality glass plate presents a clear, bright view to the shelving within
Striking carved pediment adds decoration to the door
Opens to reveal a suite of four removable shelves
Dressed to the side with a rotating brass clasp — aged lock, no key
Finished with a pair of small brass mounting loops for ease of hanging
