Art Deco cabinet / bar / bookcase attributed to Baptistin Spade, France

About the Item

Mahogany veneer 2 doors covered in vellum leather, squared with gilding. In the center, églomisé/painted glass plaque depicting a majestic bird on a branch, surrounded by Japanese-style flowers. 2 keys, locks OK. 2 shelves Art Deco, France, circa 1940. Very good condition. Attributed to Baptistin Spade (March 13, 1891 – November 16, 1969), decorator and interior designer and furniture designer. He decorated around thirty Ocean liners, from the 1930s to 1967. Dimensions: height 133 cm width 110 cm depth 43 cm

    Rare dining cabinet attributed to Eliel Saarinen (father of Eero Saarinen) designed before his immigration to the United States.
