This is a description of a pine cabinet attributed to Charlotte Perriand for Les Arcs in the 1970s. The cabinet has four doors and two pull-out drawers, and it is made of solid pine. The cabinet is in two pieces: a base and a top. It is in good original condition, with only minor signs of use, and has a beautiful patina. Charlotte Perriand was a French designer who worked with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret until 1937. Together, they created revolutionary tubular steel furnishings and system furniture, which received much acclaim when presented at the 1929 Salon D'Automne. In 1937, Charlotte Perriand designed a mountain chalet of sheet aluminum with Pierre Jeanneret. She became a design consultant to the Japanese Board of Trade in 1940 and lived in Japan until 1946. Her designs show overtones of Japanese form, as seen in the 1953 chair Synthèse des Art.

The doors and sides of the cabinet are made from a white lacquered veneer, on the doors you can find two large solid pine knobs. There is one shelve behind each of the doors.
