Cellaret/Wine Cooler

About the Item

18th Century Italian Cellaret/Wine Cooler, Giltwood and Faux Malachite. This one of a kind cellaret is constructed out of walnut in the form of a cassone with a pagoda shaped hinged lid. The carvings are exquisite and retain their original gold, so is the faux malachite. The claw feet have all their original castors, circa 1750.
