About the Item
A Chinese Qing Dynasty period elm wood cabinet from the 19th century with two large doors, bronze medallion hardware, carved apron and inner shelves with hidden drawers. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this large elm wood cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a warm brown finish. Two doors, fitted with a large traditional bronze medallion hardware with petite pulls, open to reveal a dark reddish brown interior made of inner shelves and hidden drawers offering convenient storage options. The lower section attracts our attention with its scalloped apron adorned with delicate scrolling foliage carved in low-relief. The ensemble is raised on four straight feet. The sides each present a scalloped apron while the back is distressed. With its clean lines, tall proportions and brown finish, this Chinese Qing Dynasty cabinet from the 19th century will make for a great addition to any home, whether placed in a bedroom or living room.
