About the Item

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period brown elm wood side cabinet from the 19th century with fretwork motifs, open shelf and double doors. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this elm wood side cabinet features a warm brown finish complimenting the lines beautifully. The piece features a rectangular top with central recessed board, sitting above an open shelf surrounded by a fretwork scrolling décor. A pair of double doors below, fitted with a traditional brass medallion lock and tear drop pulls, open to reveal a small storage area. The cabinet is raised on four straight legs connected to one another through a carved apron in the front. The sides showcase recessed panels and the back is simply planked. With its clean lines, warm brown finish and fretwork design, this Chinese Qing Dynasty period elm wood side cabinet from the 19th century will bring a touch of exotic elegance to any home, whether placed in a living room, bedroom or hallway.
