Chinese 1920s-1930s Elm and Burl Cabinet with Doors, Drawers and Brass Hardware

About the Item

A Northern Chinese elm and burl wood cabinet from the early 20th century, with newer brass hardware, two doors and drawers. Created in Hebei during the first quarter of the 20th century, this two-toned cabinet features two doors with burl accents fitted with a shaped medallion. The doors open to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers, while the lower section showcases four additional drawers with C-scroll handles. The cabinet is raised on four straight legs connected to one another through a carved apron in the front and side stretchers. With its clean lines and two-toned finish, this elm and burl wood Hebei cabinet circa 1920-1930 will bring an elegant presence to any living room.
