A fine quality 19th Century Chinese Red Lacquered Qing Dynasty Cabinet with Chinoiserie Décor. Chinese Dry Bar Cabinet. This handcrafted two part Chinese Red Lacquered Qing Dynasty 19th Century Cabinet with Chinoiserie Décor is hand-carved, hand-painted representing animal and plant motifs. Upper body with two doors, lower body notched and hollowed out featuring lovely hand-carvings to accentuate the legs. Beautiful patina. Noteworthy: the base appears to be of a latter period. Two doors open behind the original medallion to reveal one inner shelf and a lower compartment offering convenient storage space. Raised on four straight legs with apron in the front and boasting an nicely weathered patina, the cabinet showcases black side panels. With its clean lines and striking finish, this Qing dynasty Chinese 19th century cabinet will be a great addition to any living room or bedroom, where it could be used as a TV cabinet, to house books or collectibles. Place it in a home office to store important files, client documents or research materials. Equally, it can be used in a dining area to keep your fine crystal serveware or barware. The traditional style, red and black lacquered finish would stand out in any setting. This Wabi-sabi design style emphasizes simplicity and casualness, nature and focuses on showing the harmonious relationship between humans and nature.
