English Adam Style Satinwood Inlaid Parlor Cabinet

About the Item

English Adam Style Satinwood Inlaid Parlor Cabinet Superbly crafted English made Adams style side cabinet. It features a rectangular top over a drawer and two doors. The cabinet is highly decorated with fine inlays of floral swags and bellflowers. Arabesques frame two classical maidens. It is raised on tapering square legs with toupie feet. This gorgeous cabinet was made in England, probably by Edwards & Roberts in the late 19th century in the manner of Robert Adams. This furniture is in good antique condition with minor flaws. Edwards & Roberts was a London furniture maker from 1845 to 1899. His clientele included: H.M.Queen Victoria Duke of Cambridge Archbishop of Canterbury Archbishop of York Tsar Nicholas II Measurements: H 43.5” x W 37.5” x D 18”
