About the Item

Stunning antique English Victorian St great quality four doors bookcase display writing desk cabinet in flamed solid mahogany, circa 1890. Elegant masterfully crafted refined piece of furniture, break front cornice elegantly crafted, over four glazed doors with decorative scrolling bars doors in the upper section with gothic design. It has shelves which can be adjusted according to the height of your books. The lower section has 3 drawers, the central one with a system of drop down secretary, opening on a leather part for the writing spot, and small drawers inside the piece. Under, are four panel doors, all of which open to reveal spacious cupboard with shelves. All is raised on a plinth base, very great design which is certain to make it a talking point in your home and stand proud in which ever room you chose to display. Complete with working locks, keys, the bookcase is in excellent condition. England 1859/59 Victorian period The upper glazed part depth is 11" on each side and 15".75 I the middle. The depth of the lower part is 19" on both sides and 23".60 in the middle lower part. The height is 90".50. And 86".61 wide. The lower part is 23".60 height.
