Fine French 1940s Desk and Cabinet by Jean Pascaud 'Marquetry by J.D Malcles'

About the Item

Jean Pascaud (1903-1996) - A fine French art deco walnut stained desk and cabinet / armoire. The desk has four drawers with a carved diamond pattern and four scroll legs with bronze sabots. The cabinet also has a carved diamond pattern that frames three doors, each with a refined brass inlay by J.-D. Malcles. The base has two front scroll legs with bronze sabots. Documented in "Mobilier et Decoration" 3rd trimester 1945.
