French 19th Century Louis XV St. Kingwood And Ormolu Bibus
About the Item
A striking French 19th century Louis XV st. kingwood and ormolu Bibus. The Bibus shelf is raised by elegant lightly curved legs with fine pierced ormolu sabots. Above the scalloped shaped frieze are two adjustable shelves also each displaying a lovely scalloped shape. The back is decorated in the same manner and also displays identical shelves as the front. Each side showcases the beautiful wood grain with quarter veneer designs framed within fine inlaid fillets. The top also displays most decorative quarter veneered designs framed within a lovely fillet and mottled ormolu gallery.
