Henning Kjaernulf for Vejle Mobelfabrik Modular Teak Cabinet

About the Item

A rare example of a modular cabinet system designed by the enigmatic 20th century Danish architect and designer Henning Kjaernulf. While many of Kjaernulf's designs fall into the umbrella of Scandinavian provincial style, less common, and highly desired, are his traditional Danish mid-century modern pieces. Running in the latter vein, this cabinet system boasts three modular sections, comprised of a chest of drawers with quality crafted dovetailed drawers, a two-door cabinet opening to reveal a shelved interior, and a drop-front section with a fitted interior, great for use as a vanity or desk. Including key. With manufacturer's heat stamp verso.
