About the Item
The Hudson Cabinet is designed and finished in our Toronto studio, Morgan Clayhall. The artwork on the doors is created by Murray Duncan
Due to the unique process of creating the artwork and that the client can supply us with words that are incorporated into the art. Each cabinet is one of kind and is unique as per the clients request. No two are the same.
The artwork consists of multi layer of mix media to achieve the randomness of the movement in the artwork. Murray then adds his signature graffiti scripture words. Also incorporated into the artwork is a sgraffito effect in the design, by scratching words into the layers of the artwork. It is then seal in a gloss resin.
The construction of the cabinet consists of a walnut stained ebony. The body sits on a steel base that has been finished in a matte black.
The interior consists of adjustable shelfs, in each section. Shown in the photo was a custom interior for dish storage and the interior was split into 4 sections. The standard interior has a fixed shelf with 2 adjustable shelfs on each side.
The base is 12" in height, the body is 72".
