Mid-Century Living Room Cabinet by Permanente Mobili Cantù

About the Item

Beautiful, high-quality living room furniture produced by Permanente Mobili of Cantù. The 1950s cabinet features excellent fine woodwork. Elegant grissinato inserts and extraordinary geometric shapes carved from the wood grain. The handles and keys are made of brass. Particularly noteworthy are the numerous useful compartments. At the bottom, two double-door compartments with lockable shelves. On the middle shelf, beautiful small drawers with brass handles. On the left, a flap door reveals a counter with mirrors and glass shelf original to the period. On the right, a compartment with drop-down door and an open one with shelf. The topmost part can also be used to place decorative objects or books.

    Beautiful and unique barvintage cabinet in wood, leather and copper made by Luigi Scremin in 1948. The cabinet is signed by Luigi Scremin with an engraving on the leather at the top. Unique specimen for Scremin's showrooms. The shape is rigid and is that of a rectangle. The front shows a figure carved in copper in relief, it looks like a commander, equipped with helmet and uniform. The interior is made entirely of copper and houses a door objects also carved in copper. The upper part is upholstered in white leather while the sides are made of precious polished wood. The bar cabinet has very elegant carved curved feet. The bar cabinet is suitable for classic and elegant environments.
