Pair, gray painted Gustavian narrow cabinets or "pedestal cabinet" from Sweden. Rare to find a pair in this fine condition.
Lovely lines with applied wreath or ribbon motif on front of panel doors add to the romantic appeal of these exceptional cabinets.
Made of pine, interior reveals 2 shelves, the top has a circular platform ideal for display of sculpture, glass, etc.
Later professionally applied layered dove gray finish.
Restored, stable and ready for use; two keys included.
Any scratches, cracks, nicks, etc. are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this lovely piece.
