About the Item

18th-century Chinese two-door red lacquered cabinet from Shanxi, China, dating back to the Qing period . This stunning cabinet is embellished with gilding and hand-painted scenes to the panels , beautifully carved apron. The cupboard retains its original bronze hardware. This cabinet is an exceptional example of its type and is in very good antique condition, showing signs of age and use . No nails or screws were used during its creation; it was constructed solely using complicated ancient Chinese joinery techniques, known for their complexity and precision.
