Restored Bauhaus Cabinet, by Robert Slezák, H. J. Hagemann, Beech, Czech, 1930s

About the Item

Made by Slezak Factories, a unique Czech furniture brand specialising on chrome and bent metal furniture The mahogany veneer on the door is folded into a tree pattern. The cabinet was manufactured by Slezák factories under license from Thonet. It has been re-polished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process. The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored. This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colors and occasional bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines. Perfect for a timeless yet modern look.
