$5,500 / item - Guillerme & Chambron Cabinet 'Thierry' in OakBy Guillerme et Chambron, Votre MaisonLocated in Waalwijk, NLGuillerme & Chambron, cabinet, model 'Thierry', oak, France, 1960s. This mischievous sideboard mirrors the European Gothic Revival period of the nineteenth century by means of the heavy black stained wood. The design seamlessly blends with any interior bringing the old antiquated ambience into your home. The whole construction is solidly built showing the typical characteristics of the designer duo Guillerme et Chambron, par example the graphic pattern of carved lines on the sliding door panels, add a wonderful rhythmic and haptic surface to the front. The whole corpus rests on a stable base arranged in two columns, which results in a sculptural appearance. Functionality comes into play through the availability of great amount of storage space. Looking from left to right, the smaller cabinet is arranged through a drop-down door with a built-in shelve and three extended drawers. The interior of the grand part is furnished with multiple shelves. The combination of color and specific design characteristics underline the essence of the design, resulting in a bold, luxurious cabinet...Category

- Large Vintage Robert Heritage Mid Century Teak, Afromosia and Sapele sideboardBy Robert Heritage, Archie ShineLocated in Highclere, NewburyA very large Vintage Mid Century Teak, Afromosia and Sapele Knighstbridge sideboard/credenza designed by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine. Standing at just over 244cm in length the Knightsbridge really was the Grand Daddy of all Heritage’s amazing sideboards; not to mention the combination of wood that gave it a wonderfully aesthetic appeal. It’s therefore a long sideboard that would naturally suit a large room or hallway. The drawer section is ribbed Afromosia (which is a harder African teak variant with a richer darker colour) whereas the main cupboard and top section is a more traditional golden teak. But in addition, Heritage has finished the main doors off in Sapele which is a lighter cross cut Mahogany variant that creates a ribbon grain effect as it catches the light – the doors can therefore look lighter or darker in colour as you walk around the piece. As regards storage, there’s a lot on offer. The sideboard has 4 large drawers with beautifully detailed handles and with stylised ribbed fronts – and then there are two sets of doors which reveal two large two tier storage...Category
