Rustic 19th Century Painted Armoire

About the Item

This 1890's cabinet is a 19th Century copy of an early 18th Century French piece, faux distressed at the time it was made. Inside, the piece is quite clean and has a roomy storage shelf as well as a bar for hanging clothes. The outstanding cornice is beautifully shaped and retains a lot of paint, with decorative carving. The height measurement is for the total height of the piece. The height of the body of the cabinet is 65". Original lock and key work well, and are in good condition with faux oxidation.
