Rustic Bleached Redwood Hutch
About the Item
A casual, redwood hutch, attributed to the Early American period.
Rosettes & decorative accents on stiles are thought to be mahogany. The entire piece has been bleached and refinished. The lower portion includes 8 drawers with original light blue paint on the interior portion drawers, which has been repainted during restoration. The upper hutch portion includes 2 interior shelves behind two cabinet doors with wooden knobs that twist for simple wooden latch closure.
The original shelves, and some of the interior backing, has been replaced with pine and finished to match the rest of the piece. The hutch is raised from the floor with newly replaced pine bun feet, finished to match the rest of the piece.

Fair antique condition with some areas of heavy scratches or distressing that add to the rustic charm. Wear is typical of age and use.
