Created in the North-Eastern province of Shanxi during the Qing dynasty in the 19th century, this wedding cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by its original red lacquer. Adorned with a faint floral décor with various objects such as vases raised on pedestals, the façade showcases two doors fitted with a traditional lock, opening to reveal an inner shelf with two drawers and a hidden compartment concealed under a removable panel.
