TROSBY Burlwood & Oak Chippendale Breakfront China Cabinet
About the Item
A Chippendale style breakfront china cabinet by Trosby Furniture. Burlwood & oak with a slightly distressed finish, brass hardware, crown & dentil moulding to top, paned fretwork glass doors, banded door & drawer fronts, bevel edge to top of lower cabinet, and ogee edge to the solid base. Upper lighted cabinet has three separate areas with lockable paned fretwork glass doors revealing an interior with three adjustable plate grooved wood shelves with glass inserts in each area. Lower cabinet features center section with two smaller over three larger drawers of dovetail construction, all being lockable, flanked by two lockable one door side cabinets revealing storage with one adjustable wood shelf in each. All doors open with key. Includes five keys. Two piece construction. Made in Sussex, England, United Kingdom, in the mid 20th Century.
