1930s Italian Bombé Burl Olive Wood with Burl Walnut Marquetry Chest of Drawers
About the Item
A rare 1930s Italian Baroque style bombé chest of drawers with burl olive wood and burl walnut marquetry featuring its original Art Nouveau brass handles. There are three flat brass knobs on the top set of drawers and three brass drawer pulls on the bottom set of drawers. The beautiful exaggerated curves and the elongated shape of the chest of drawers makes it very versatile for use as a side table or a small console table. The chest has been bleached, varnished and waxed to accentuate the beautiful marquetry work.
